Food/Clothing Resources

Little FREE Pantry– 715 1st Ave., down town Opelika, has a Little FREE Pantry providing non-perishable food items and hygiene products during the Coronavirus Outbreak. The Pantry is open 24/7 and everything is FREE.

Community Market – 3810-C Pepperell Pkwy., Opelika. Call (334)749-8844. They are accepting appointments every Tuesday’s starting at 10:00am until they fill-up appointments and will tell individuals what they need to bring with them. No one is allowed inside, they will hand-out a bag of food.

Smith Station Baptist Church (334)297-4932…2460 Lee Road 430; Smiths, AL 36877…Offers Food Pantry & Clothing ONLY on Tuesday’s from 1:00pm-3:00pm. I just spoke with Ms. Carol she stated that parent has to call and set-up an appointment for Tuesday: Requirement: Picture ID, Proof of Address and Proof of Income if they have any.

Lee County Emergency Management Administration (EMA)- Can help with food insecurity for any family with children in Lee County. Call 211 Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM Central Time. To register, you will need the following: Your ZIP Code, Name, and Address (as it appears on your Driver’s License). You will then receive information including a distribution location with a date and time for pick up.
